September 19, 2004Vols Kicker RedeemedKNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- James Wilhoit missed the easy one to tie, then made the tough one to win it. The Vols just scored a touchdown making the score was 27-28, and James Wilhoit was about to kick a simple extra point to tie the game and give the Vols a chance to beat Florida in overtime. Wilhoit then missed the first extra point of his career. Luckily 199 seconds later the Tennessee kicker found redemption. Wilhoit got a second chance and nailed a 50-yard field goal with six seconds left to give the Vols a 30-28 win over Florida.
